It has come to the notice of the Department of Collegiate and Technical Education that some websites are publishing false news about free laptops being distributed by the Government to the students of colleges under the purview of the Department and Application Formats are also being made available. At present, no free Laptop distribution scheme is being implemented by the Department. Students are hereby informed not to believe the false information circulated by such websites.
